Insulation resistance is one of the important indicators for the production and design of connectors, and it is also the most basic insulation indicator for electrical equipment and electrical circuits. Whether the insulation resistance between the cores of the connector is normal reflects a certain extent whether the connector product is working normally, the following are the precautions and steps:

1. Select the test instrument within the validity period of the calibration, adjust the tester to the insulation test channel, and set the test parameters: voltage, test time, the lower limit of resistance (as shown in the Chuante electronic products, set the parameters according to the drawing requirements: 1000V/ 60s resistance lower limit 100MΩ).

2. Clamp the correct test point. We know that the insulation resistance of the connector mainly depends on the rubber core part inside the connector. If the insulation resistance between each PIN position is tested, the sampling distance between the two nearest A PIN bit is a test point (these two points must be sampled).

3. Press the test button to start the insulation resistance test, wait for the set test time to end, and record the test data.
